Built around advanced polyurethane, STP, and Polyurea chemistries, the XR Range is engineered for professional installers working at scale across commercial and industrial sectors. Access to XR systems is restricted through the Allbase Trade Programme, ensuring that specifications, applications, and long-term performance are tightly controlled. XR is not a general-use range. It is designed for contractors operating at the highest technical level.
Polyurethane (PU)
PU offers an excellent balance of flexibility, durability and versatility, scoring highly across most core areas. It has a moderate odour level during installation, making it best suited to general domestic, commercial, and refurbishment projects where access and ventilation are not restricted.
Polyurea
Polyurea performs at the top end in terms of durability and foot traffic, making it ideal for large commercial and industrial roofs. Its odour level is lower than that of traditional resins, though not as low as STP. A strong choice where long-term toughness and minimal disruption are priorities.
Silane Terminated Polymers (STP)
STPs offer the lowest odour levels and the best environmental performance of all systems, making them a reliable option for hospitals, schools, homes, and enclosed spaces. It also scores strongly for versatility, giving installers a clean, low-impact system suitable for sensitive or occupied buildings.
BBA Approved
The systems have undergone over two years of independent testing with the BBA.
C5 Corrosion Resistance
Classified as C5, the highest corrosion rating in Europe.
Fire Retardant
XR systems achieve a Broof(t4) fire rating for UK new build roofs.
