Training terms and conditions

Allbase Group Ltd (Allbase) course booking terms and conditions and cancellation policy. These terms and conditions, together with the current Allbase website prices, course details and Allbase contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the course and associated materials and services to you by Allbase.

Payment terms

Our standard payment terms is that payment is taken at booking unless otherwise stated. If payment by invoice has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be made 30 days from the date of invoice or prior to the course start date, whichever is sooner.

Course bookings

Course bookings can be done through our e-commerce platform on the Allbase website, simply find the course you want and click the book now button, fill out the information and make your payment via paypal or bank transfer. Bookings can also be made by email or phone. Telephone bookings must be confirmed in writing upon request, and please quote purchase order numbers where applicable.

E-tickets

Allbase operates an e-ticketing system with all its professional and introductory courses. E-tickets will be emailed to attendees prior to an Allbase training event, course attendees must either print out a copy of the emailed ticket and bring it with them to the event or have it accessible on a mobile device. Before you can gain access to the event a member of staff will scan your ticket to check you into the event.

Course attendance and certification

Candidates will receive joining instructions via email to the email address provided when booking the course. It is the responsibility of the individual completing the course registration/booking form to ensure joining instructions are received by the candidate.

If the joining instructions are not received, it is the responsibility of the individual who completed the course registration/booking form to contact Allbase to arrange for them to be resent. Allbase will send all correspondence primarily via email to the email address provided on the booking form. If alternative details are received after the booking form has been submitted, they will supersede the original details and all future correspondence will be sent to the new address. It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of Allbase, to change the content and timing of the programme, the date, the venue or the tutor.

All course participants will receive a certificate of attendance, which can either be emailed or posted. Emailed certificated usually take up-to 2 working days after the course is completed, while postal certificates can take up to 7 working days.

Transfers

Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another Allbase course, the following charges will apply, dependent on notice given:

  • First transfer, made more than four weeks prior to the course start date – no charge
  • Two to four weeks notice given – 25% of the course fee
  • Less than two weeks notice given – 50% of the course fee.

Cancellations

Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • More than four weeks prior to the course start date – no charge
  • Two to four weeks prior to the course – 50% of the course fee
  • Less than two weeks prior to the course – full fee.

Non-attendance

If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

Late arrivals or missed sessions

If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

Unforeseen circumstances

On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.

VAT

All course fees are subject to the current VAT (valid exemptions only)

Course provisions

Accommodation and travel arrangements are the responsibility of the candidate. Lunch, refreshments and snacks are provided on all professional and introduction courses unless otherwise stated. The cost is included in the price quoted. Any special dietary requirements need to be notified in writing to Allbase in advance of the course commencing.
